２頭の獅子が綱を引き合い、押し合い、絡み合う。
獅子が大きく動くと、観客から歓声が上がる。
子供たちは人差し指を獅子に向け「れるれ、れるれ」と指をまわしながら声を出す。
そして次の瞬間！！！

今日はカヤマ島で撮影だった。
こんなに暑いのは久しぶり。
今年は秋が早く八重山のくせにここ数日はシャツの上に一枚はおらないと寒かったりしたんだが、一気に暑くなった。
今日は黒潮が入ってきているようで透明度が高く、水温もそこそこ。
絶好のシュノーケリング、ダイビング日和なのに、仕事でそういうわけも行かず。眺めるだけで我慢。

　前回のエントリーではお盆の翌日獅子舞が披露される集落があると書いた。
　僕が訪れたのは白保の獅子舞。
　白保にある学校の運動場で盆踊りと獅子舞が披露されると、白保集落の始祖の一つでもあり、古い歴史を持つ宮良家に場所を移し、また獅子舞が披露される。
　白保集落の獅子舞はこの宮良家に代々伝わる（３００年程との話）獅子の面を使い、お盆が一通り終わると獅子納めの儀と言う事で、一番最後に宮良家屋敷にて最後の芸能の披露が行われる。
　写真は宮良家屋敷にて獅子の登場を待つ人々。
　学校の運動場での芸能披露の後、たっぷり２時間はこの宮良家の屋敷にて獅子の登場を待つ事になった。

八重山ではお盆を旧暦で行い、これを旧盆（ソーロン）と呼ぶ。
ソーロンの最終日の翌日。
この世が楽しくて帰れないご先祖様に帰って頂く為にも、獅子舞が披露される集落がある。

ちなみに、この「この世が楽しくて帰れないご先祖様に帰って頂く為」という理由はたまたまそこにいたおばあさんに聞いた。よって、民俗学的に正しいかどうかは知らないがそういう側面もあるのかもしれない。

夜の街を飲み歩いている時に、時々彼女に出会う。
何度か一緒に三線を弾かせてもらった。なんと楽しい事か！

彼女のハスキーな声と軽快な三線の音が心地よい。

夜もそろそろ開ける頃、彼女は孫を電話で呼ぶと、元気よく帰って行った。

彼女より半世紀は若い僕は、喉も枯れ、酔いも回りべろべろだ。

酒に酔ったのか彼女の唄に酔ったのかは解らない。
心地よい音の余韻が体に残る。

今年の１月くらいまでだったか flickr を使ってた。

しばらくぶりにログインしようとしたら、ログイン出来ないでやんの。

どうやら旧アカウントはYahoo!USAのアカウントを取ってからloginしなきゃ行けないらしい。

うーん。旧アカウントの写真とFriendも一度捨てなきゃ行けないのか。

そう考えると残念。

ミレったらしくいろいろと Flickr を確認してみたが、やはりIDを取り直さないとだめみたい。とほほ。

風速30mで犬は飛ぶ。

先日、猛烈な台風１５号が八重山諸島に接近。
大きな爪痕を残していった。

特に与那国島でも甚大な被害に見舞われた。
石垣市でも風速59mを記録。

風が少し弱まったころ、様子を見るために外へ出たがそこで思わぬものを見た。
野良犬だ。

写真を撮っていた瞬間に、それは起こった。

わが目を疑い、あわてて犬を追いかける。

しかし、猛烈な風にあい、満足に前にも進めない。息も出来ない。

風速３０ｍほどで息ができなくなるそうだ。

ちなみに、一般体型の男性で風速３３ｍ、女性では３１ｍｍ、どんな体勢をとっていても風速３５ｍで人は飛んでしまうらしい。

犬はおよそ風速３０ｍ程度で、空へ飛び立っていった。

何とか、外へ出て犬を探すと、のんきに、はるか彼方をあり得ないスピードで歩いて行った。



ホッと胸をなでおろす。

ところで、この写真、よく見ると合成写真のように見えるが、本当に合成写真です。
はい、犯人は僕だ。

どうか、台風の風に飛ばされ、けがをしている犬はいなかったという事実に皆さん胸をなでおろしてほしい。
